The benefit dinner partnership that grew into Feed the Need, GWIM’s flagship annual event.

Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries (GWIM) announced a partnership with the Pontelandolfo Community Club. The Club hosted a dinner on June 4, 2018 at 6:30 pm, with a portion of the proceeds going to GWIM and the Club’s other community engagement work.

GWIM’s mission is to feed the hungry in a respectful and dignified manner, and to empower the homeless and underprivileged. GWIM provides daily meals in the Soup Kitchen, an Emergency Food Pantry, and a Resource Center. The value placed on respecting each individual has shaped how every service is provided: anyone who visits the Emergency Food Pantry shops and makes the choices that are best for themselves and their families.

The dinner tradition is still going. See the GWIM Annual Dinner at La Bella Vista for this year’s event, or all of our community events.
