About Us

Greater Waterbury Interfaith Ministries, Inc. has been in existence for over 90 years—since 1933. Our roots can be traced back to the Waterbury Area Council of Churches. In all of those 90 years, our mission has remained the same: to minister to the poor, disadvantaged and homeless of the Greater Waterbury area by seeing to their basic human needs, advocating for social justice and mentoring our friends in need, toward a path of self-efficiency.
